Sandro Botticelli was an Italian painter in the Early Renaissance. He went to Florentine school with the support of Lorenzo de' Medici.

Who is Sandro Botticelli? What did he do? Why is he famous? These questions you may have been wondering will be answered. Sandro Botticelli is an important person in history for his intriguing paintings, his most famous painting the Birth of Venus, and his life growing up which led him to his inspiring work of art.
Sandro Botticelli did many paintings and some of them are more famous than others such as Venus on a half shell which is a painting of Venus rising out of the ocean on a half shell. Venus is a Greek goddess. Something very important is that Sandro painted a chapel in Rome in 1481 and 1482. He got ideas from a part of the Sistine Chapel called the life of Moses. He used inspiration for his work from the Sistine Chapel. He explained that three of the scenes are from the life of Moses. So as can be seen from this explanation on what Sandro Botticelli did, His painting were the most important thing to him since he was little.
Sandro Botticelli also created a painting that impacted his life and the life of the renaissance by him having a great painting that made him and all of his work famous. The piece of art that made an incredible impact on the lives of many is the Birth of Venus. The Birth of Venus is very popular because he took human forms with liberties.
